“Great inn, friendly & professional staff, warm open fire and a lovely suite in the old part of the building. Will definitely visit again!”
“Got so much history and character! I love staying here always fabulous!!”
“From arriving to checking out every part of my stay was enjoyable. The staff were professional and friendly, location was beautiful with plenty of places to eat out and a large Tesco in walking distance which is very convenient. Gorgeous exposed beams, very generous complementary gifts in room on arrival, high quality bedding/towels etc great menu choices and breakfast was delicious I recommend the salmon and scrambled egg. Good WiFi and excellent conference facilities in the old church on site the food and drinks served were delicious, cosy bar and lounge reception area and very reasonably priced! Keep up the great work anyone looking for a place to stay bursting with old English charm with easy access to London and other tourist areas around the capital then this is the place for you. Thank you for a great stay if I am ever back down your way I know where my first choice to stay will be!”
“Lots of Character and great staff! The hotel is located in the beautiful Old Town, close to many restaurants and shops. Both have plenty of car parking too.
The rooms are lovely. Spacious and extremely comfy beds. The rooms in the main inn have so much character. They always White Company products in the bathroom. Breakfast is great and included in the price. You can help yourself to fruit, cereals, toast, crumpets etc, or order something hot off the menu.
The pub connected to the hotel, which I only went in for the first time this visit, is just the cosiest little place! I'll definitely be making a visit there part of my visit again. Roaring fires, cute nuts and crannies to sit in and a warm atmosphere.
The staff are fantastic. From reception to waiting staff, they all can't do enough for you.
Overall would definitely recommend, and I make a mental note that I must come here for a leisure trip one weekend rather than just business!”
